After this, I was inquisitive and was very eager to read this book, and I got this opportunity and read it in the first instant. The book is excellent and has many real stories, and it is more important that this is a non-fiction book.

Autobiography of a Yogi, in the initial chapters, was written on the life of Paramhansa Yogananda. Still, it will amaze you when you find a separate chapter on an Indian Scientist named Dr Jagdish Chandra Bose. It was one of the books written by a yogi, and an individual chapter is dedicated to Jagdish Bose.

His parents' life and childhood are covered and tell about early childhood and his life as a small kid.

The writer narrated many incidents when he met yogis and saints and people whose guru was Lahiri Mahasaya. His parents were too disciple of Shri Lahiri Mahasaya.

Swami Yoganandaji was very much attracted to the path of Spirituality. That led him to travel to the Himalayas and see the beauty of Kashmir. It is an exciting story, and one chapter is also dedicated to how he and his friend became penniless in Brindaban.

Talking about his meeting of great saints before he met his guru. Pramhansaji also talks about the stories and his experience of mystical and divine saints like Sleepless Saint, Saint with Two bodies, Tiger Swami, Levitating Saint, and many more.

He has also dedicated a separate chapter to a first meeting with the Sri Sri Yukteshwar Giri. The saint taught him about Spirituality and metaphysical science. He also initiated him into Self-Realization process and made him experience the cosmic consciousness. He wrote about it in detail in his chapter of "Years in My Master's Hermitage".

To purchase autobiography of a yogi.

The author also narrates how his guru makes him realized that his life is more than what he thinks! He makes him aware of the greatest joy of a person that is knowing and experiencing the god. The way he narrates this is amazing.

During his tenure at the hermitage, he learned about the super consciousness and got in touch with many colleagues. During this period he takes permission from his guru to obtain the degree from the university.

He also talks about how Kriya Yoga was spread in India by his guru's guru Lahiri Mahasaya. He talks about it in short and brief.

Later on, he describes his life in the United States. The life of Yoganandaji is full of divinity and Spirituality. This book is one of the best books of Spirituality.
